Marjory Jardine, Secretary
Librarian for 33 years. Retired 2021.
Interests: cycling, swimming, travelling, Maria!
Mark Wilson, Director, Social Media
Mark retired from a long career in the management consulting and information services industry, most recently providing business analytics consulting for IBM clients across North America.
Interests: family, the outdoors and travel (when that comes again).
Catherine Wilson, Director, International Affairs
Catherine is a retired nurse and last worked in Community Health with a specialization in skin and wound management .
Shirley Vriend, Treasurer
Retired as an Office Manager from Police Academy, Justice Institute of British Columbia. Involved with the Refugee Committee in my church where we sponsor and support refugees in resettling in Canada.
Interests: walking my dog, family, travel and working with the less fortunate.
Md Ashique Hossain, President, Maria Orphanage Board in Bangladesh
Obtained his LL.B (HONS), from The University of Buckingham UK, LPC (PGDL) from Manchester Metropolitan University UK. He is Barrister at Law (BPTC) from The Honourable Society of Lincoln’s Inn UK.
Interests: philanthropic work, education, and travelling.
Alex Vogel, Director, Communications
Alex is currently a post-secondary student studying criminology and law enforcement. His interests are spending time with family and friends, his two dogs and Maria!
